Tell us a little bit about your professional achievements? Creighton University graduate, graduated from the Iowa School of Banking
What volunteer efforts are you involved with? Chairperson for the Iowa Bankers Association Iowa School of Banking Advisory Board, on the Optimist Board and on the Promise Partners Governance Board, Leadership Council Bluffs
Why do you volunteer? To be involved in the Council Bluffs community and to give back to the community
How do you balance your professional career and personal life? Plan ahead, make time for friends and family, I schedule it!
What is your favorite pastime/hobby? I enjoy running, going to the lake and playing at the park with my daughter.
What about your job keeps you motivated? The every day challenges; banking is always changing.
What advice would you give to someone interested in your specific career? If they enjoy helping people reach and/or understand their financials they should pursue banking.
What is the most interesting lesson you have learned in your career? Every day and every client is different.
Who has been a key mentor in the workplace or life for you and how did they help you?
I have two key mentors. My father has coached me through life and is still coaching me. He continues to teach me to challenge myself.
My second mentor would be my boss Mike Kenealy. Mike mentors me in the work place and has taught/helped me to grow strong as an individual in my career and has helped guide me to achieve my career path goals.
What are you most proud of having accomplished in your professional career or personal life?
I am very proud to have graduated college and work my way up in the professional field.
I am also very proud to be a mother.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? If you are passionate about what you do then your job will not be work it will be your passion.
What is the one goal that you would most like to accomplish? Learn all the different areas of banking.
What do you enjoy most about working in the Council Bluffs community? The feel of the small town, but the diversity of the businesses like a large city. This allows me to make connections with people from every profession.
